Motor power of a 120 concrete mixing plant unit
To determine the total power rating of a dual-line 120-type concrete mixing plant, it is sufficient to calculate the power consumption of a single 120-line production line. The electrical equipment for a complete 120-type concrete mixing plant is primarily concentrated in seven key components: the mixing unit, aggregate batching system, belt conveyor, powder-material screw conveyor, weighing system, pneumatic control system, and electrical control system.
Below, we at Huihong will list, one by one, the motors and their power ratings used in the Model 120 concrete mixing plant.
I. Power of the Mixing Unit at the 120-Type Concrete Mixing Plant: The mixing unit consists of one JS2000-type Schwing mixer, with two 37-kW mixing motors, a 0.9-kW grease pump, and a 1.9-kW hydraulic power unit, for a total of 76.8 kW.
II. Power of the Aggregate Batching Unit at the 120-Type Concrete Mixing Plant: The aggregate batching unit is a PLD3200 four-bin, independent-metering type, equipped with four 1.5-kW vibrators. The electric drum motors for the flat belt conveyors are rated at 11 kW, with a belt speed of 2 m/s, for a total of 17 kW.
3. Power of the belt conveyor at the 120-type concrete mixing plant: The belt conveyor is available in three configurations—flat belt, herringbone belt, or bucket-type belt. The selected electric drum motor has a power rating of 37 kW, a belt speed of 2.5 m/s, and a belt width of 800 mm.
4. Power of the powder screw conveyor for the 120-type concrete mixing plant: The number of conveyors is determined based on the number of cement silos; typically, a complete 120-type plant is equipped with four screw conveyors (two φ273 and two φ219). The φ273 screw conveyors are rated at 15 kW each, while the φ219 screw conveyors are rated at 11 kW each, for a total of 52 kW.
V. The weighing system primarily comprises a water weighing system and an admixture weighing system, both of which are equipped with electric motors: the water pump motor has a power rating of 4 kW, and the admixture pump motor is rated at 1.1 kW, for a total of 5.1 kW. For the 120-station pneumatic control system, the air compressor motor is rated at 11 kW. The remaining electrical control components are calculated to have a total power consumption of 8 kW.
Therefore, by summing up the power ratings of all motor-driven components, we can determine the total power rating of an HZS120 concrete batching plant.
In summary, the total power consumption of a 120-type concrete mixing plant is as follows: mixer unit power 76.8 kW + aggregate batching machine power 17 kW + belt conveyor power 37 kW + powder material screw conveyor power 52 kW + weighing system power 5.1 kW + pneumatic control system air compressor power 11 kW + other equipment power 8 kW, totaling 206.9 kW for the entire HZS120 production line.
Therefore, the power rating of the dual-line HZS120 concrete mixing plant is 206.9 kW × 2 = 413.8 kW, meaning that at full load it consumes 413.8 kWh of electricity per hour. Taking into account a capacity utilization rate of 80% for the entire mixing plant, the dual-line HZS120 plant actually consumes 331.04 kWh of electricity per hour.
